I had never been to Great Smoky Mountains National Park before joining Robert Rodriguez Jr. there for one of his excellent workshops (this was my second with him, after Arches in Spring). To me, it became a place of two distinct moods: gorgeous, pastoral scenery and rustic, historic ruins. These photos represent my feelings about the experience. I hope I can share these moments with you. Go there, if you can!
